Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to oversee the daily operations of a nursing unit within our long-term care facility. The RN Unit Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
  • Coordinate and oversee resident care to ensure individualized care plans are followed.
  • Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident conditions and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapy, and social services.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
  • Participate in care plan meetings and communicate with residents and families.
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and complaints.
  • Promote a positive work environment and maintain high staff morale.

Qualifications:
  • Current RN license in NYS
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
