Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is looking to add a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to its rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll carry out treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist to help patients improve strength, mobility, and independence. Located in Campbell Hall, NY, Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is a 134-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our residents. Our PTAs work with patients in both our Rehabilitation Unit and Long-Term Care Unit, so every day brings variety, and our therapy, nursing, and social work teams work closely together to support each patient. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide treatment according to the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
Help patients improve strength, mobility, and independence.
Track and document patient progress, and report changes to the supervising PT.
Communicate with nursing and the care team on patient needs.
Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid New York State PTA license.
At least 1 year of experience as a PTA.
Team-oriented and enjoys working with a variety of patients.
