About the Job
Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
The Occupational Therapist will provide skilled occupational therapy services to residents in our long-term care and rehabilitation setting, with a focus on improving independence, safety, functional abilities, and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.
  • Assist residents with improving their ability to perform dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, and other daily activities.
  • Provide adaptive equipment recommendations and training as appropriate.
  • Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Accurately document evaluations, treatments, progress, and discharge information.
  • Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy staff, physicians, residents, and families.
  • Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, applicable regulations, and professional standards.
  • Promote resident dignity, safety, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current New York State Occupational Therapist license required.
  • Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric care preferred.
  • Strong clinical, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and resident-centered approach to care.
