Join Our Team:
Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center, a 134-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Admissions Director to join our team. The Admissions Director serves as the primary point of contact for prospective residents, families, hospitals, and referral sources while facilitating a smooth and efficient admissions process.

Position Summary:
The Admissions Director is responsible for managing all aspects of resident admissions, including referral review, insurance verification, communication with referral sources, coordination with interdisciplinary departments, and ensuring timely admissions in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage all incoming referrals and admissions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between hospitals, families, physicians, and facility departments.
  • Review referral documentation for appropriateness of admission.
  • Verify insurance benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care coverage.
  • Coordinate pre-admission assessments as needed.
  • Maintain communication with referral sources regarding bed availability and admission status.
  • Make sure room is ready for the admission. 
  • Facilitate resident and family tours of the facility.
  • Ensure all required admission documentation is completed accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with Nursing, Social Services, Therapy, Dietary, and other departments to ensure a successful transition for new residents.
  • Participate in census development and marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate admission records and census reports.
  • Attend hospital and community outreach events as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous admissions, marketing, case management, or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience in a Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation Center, or Hospital setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and insurance authorization processes.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office applications.
